First Report Timeliness and Report-Lag Audit Workbook

Enter your closed cases and the date each report was actually filed. The workbook returns how late each one was. For each case it recomputes the due date of the state first report, California DWC-1, OSHA 301 and Ontario Form 7 from the cited rule row in the edition you audit against, in calendar or working days with holidays and your closure days excluded, and measures the lag. Where a rule gives a day count without saying calendar or working days, it tests both readings and says when the result depends on the basis. It then shows on-time rates and median lag by site, jurisdiction, clock type and quarter. Each late filing gets a fixed reason code, and recurring reasons feed a corrective follow-up register. It includes no industry benchmark. Every result is computed from your own dates, and each rule row shows whether it is Verified or still to be confirmed against the agency's own published rule.
