Reporting Deadlines

Injury Report Deadline Calculator by State

Enter the injury date, the date and time your organization first knew, and the site's jurisdiction. For each clock that applies, the workbook shows the cited rule row, when the clock starts, how it is counted and the due date or time: the OSHA 8-hour and 24-hour severe-injury reports (or the State Plan row), the OSHA 300/301 recording window, California's DWC-1, Ontario's Form 7 and the state first report of injury. A date is shown only when the row gives a countable deadline, a day basis and a start event. Most state first-report rules give a day count without saying calendar or working days, so those show a calendar-day reading to confirm instead of a date. Every federal OSHA row is Verified against the eCFR, state rows not yet confirmed are marked Unverified, no rule is hardcoded into a formula, and the workbook is reference material, not legal advice.
